The next step is to enter the backup rule name and select the backup vault we created earlier. Then, choose the backup frequency, such as hourly, daily, weekly, or monthly. In this case, we have selected a daily backup frequency.

A custom cron expression defines specific values for minute, hour, day of the month, month, day of the week and year fields. This level of customization enables you to create schedules that meet your specific requirements, such as running a task every 5 minutes between certain hours, or on specific days of the week.

Then specify the time of day the data backup will start ,where applicable time will adjust to daylight savings time so that it retains the same local time all year,And then Select the timezone accordingly,

After selecting the time zone, choose the specific period of time during which the backup plan should start and specify the duration within which the backup should be completed.

next is to select your retention period.

In AWS, retention period refers to the duration for which backup copies are retained before they are automatically deleted.

After selecting your Retention Period just click on "Create plan" to complete the process.
